Pinecrest Campground and Pinecrest Lake are located 30 miles east of Sonora, California, off of Highway 108.
There are 196 campsites available during peak season, which is from April to October. Sites range from 30-40' back-ins, no hook-ups, on five different loops. Loop D is located closest to the lake. One of the oldest traditions in Modesto, Concert in the Park happens every Thursday evening throughout June and July. The Modesto Band of Stanislaus County performs at 8pm, however many families gather long before that to enjoy a picnic dinner. There are no specific activities for children during the evening, unless you count the numerous ice cream trucks that stop by!

Celebrate Earth Day in Yosemite! The organized activities take place during the weekend and on Earth Day, April 22.
Weekend events typically include an Earth Day Village Celebration, which details how the Park's partners are keeping Yosemite clean and preserved for generations to come.
