Riverbank Skatepark

Ages: 6 and up

The Riverbank Skatepark is a local favorite. 

The park's surface consists of concrete and coping.  Roll-in bowl features a small vert extension and spine.  The street course area includes boxes, multiple drop-in obstacles and even two nine-stair obstacles (one which features a rail).

Pads are encouraged, but not required.  No bicycles are allowed.  Vending machine on premises.  Park is open dawn til dusk.

Modesto Skatepark

Modesto Skatepark is an outdoor park for bikes, skateboarder and inline skaters.  The park has several bowls, one ledge, three boxes, two pyramids, a spine, a hip and a small snake run. Modesto Skatepark is located next to Beyer High School.  The park is open dawn til dusk.

Learn basic skateboarding skills and tricks this summer. Riverbank's Park & Rec Department invites all groms 6 - 12 years old to the skate park for a one-week camp where they'll learn to do an Ollie, a kick-flip, and maybe even master a Casper. 

Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads must be worn. Camp fee includes a righteous t-shirt. Space is limited.

Ceres Skatepark

Get your grind on and stop off at the Ceres Skatepark, which is perfect for street skaters.  Design features include pyramids, stairs, half-pipe, rails, boxes, ledges.

Smyrna Park is located on Fowler Road between Moffet Road and Rose Avenue, and while the skatepark is not visible from Fowler Road, it is located in the center of the park.  

Hours of operation: dawn till dusk

Curt Pernice Skatepark

Ripon's Curt Pernice Skatepark has been named one of the best skateparks in California by Thrasher Magazine.  The 30,000 square foot park features endless lines and tons of hips.  From beginner to advanced levels, skaters will be stoked on the parks pyramids, boxes, rails, step up and half pipe.

Helmets are required. Pads are optional, but recommended. 

There are no shade trees around this park, so slather on the sunscreen bef...

Helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads must be worn. Camp fee includes a righteous t-shirt. Space is limited.

Turlock Skatepark

Though smaller than Ripon's nationally-acclaimed skatepark, Turlock's is still a great park for locals or those on a tour of the area's parks.  The Turlock skatepark's design includes a 4 foot half-pipe with nice coping, 2 spines, a 5 foot quarter-pipe, a funbox and rails.

Helmets, knee pads and elbow pads are required.

Hours of operation: dawn till dusk.
