Leland High Sierra Snowplay is just a short drive from the Central Valley, with an expansive and well-groomed snow area for sledding. The park opens as soon as snow hits the foothills (the park is at an elevation of 6,300 feet) and typically remains open until April.

Children and caregivers looking for a low-key snow play day will enjoy Blizzard Mountain, Sierra-at-Tahoe's newest winter attraction.
Two tubing lanes — designed with a start deck for easy take-off — feature lifts for tube towing, resulting in maximum fun for minimal effort. Children under 42" will require an adult rider to accompany them. Tickets are sold for $30 per person and are good for two hour time slots.
