The Modesto Girls Softball League offers both recreational league play and skill-based league play for girls in five age divisions: 6U t-ball; 8U coach pitch; 10U, 12U, and 15U fast pitch softball.
All practices and games are held at baseball diamonds throughout the Sylvan School District, with typically two games being played per week.

Rainbow Fields offers baseball play for children ages 8-14. Children are placed in appropriate age brackets based on their age on May 1 of each play year. Players have games once or twice a week, with all games being played Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays at either 5:30pm or 7:15pm.
