Well, I spent the afternoon yesterday at a birthday party at the Funworks on Coffee and Pelendale Road. 3 Stars isn't a bad review, its just a "they need to fix a few things" review.

There are a lot of really great things. The go carts, the very well taken care of minuature golf course, the brand new RC race track and the batting cages. All of those really great things are outside.

The inside jungle gym and climbing wall are really well taken care of and the kids enjoyed those as well.

The inside gaming area could use a bit of help. A LOT, and I mean, quite more than normal, of the video games are broken without any kind of acknowledgement. Also, aside from the bass game that is a "Spin the Wheel" for tickets game, the others are pretty stingy with their ticket rewards.

Still, they will allow purchase of items in the redemption store with a combination of tickets and cash, which is a good thing if you dont want to come home with a bag full of 10ticket candy!

The food is standard kids place pizza. Not bad actually, there is far worse out there. They have BY FAR the best pickles around. Sometimes I go there just to get a pickle. No lie.

Overall, a good place for a party or just some down time with the kids.
