The Yahi Bowmen of Modesto hosts this introduction to archery class for children ages 8 and up.  The class begins with 45 minutes of instruction, then hands-on activities will follow.  Students will learn how to handle the equipment and have a chance to shoot at targets.  The day concludes with a BBQ lunch.  Each participant will receive a certificate of completion, club pin and a workbook.  The class meets at the archery range at the Modesto Reservoir.  Registration is through the city of Modesto Parks and Recreation Department.  Click here for registration information.
