At Bass Pro Shops in Manteca, the entire family is invited to Free Family Summer Camps, where they will enjoy learning the basics of hiking, camping and fishing. Other workshops include bird watching, archery, animal identification, pets in the outdoors and plants & insects. Kids will earn a collectable pin for every workshop completed (while supplies last). Free Family Summer Camp Workshops will occur Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning June 8th, continuing through July 14th. Family Workshop Schedule can be found here.

We went today (Saturday at 12pm) and for the short period of time we were there my kids got to see the employees feed the fish in the tank, feed the fish themselves (the employees made sure ALL the kids participating were involved) Shot archery and BB guns which the employees took time showing each child how to hold it and shoot it.
