Expectant parents taking this four week course will learn how to prepare for the labor and delivery of the precious new addition to their family. Birthing techniques will be discussed, as will options for medication and anesthesia during labor.  The support person will be taught how to help coach the mother throughout labor and delivery, and both mom and support person will learn breathing and relaxation techniques for use when the going gets tough and the tough get to birthing.

Classes are held at The Health Center on Thursdays from 6-8:30pm.  Each series is four consecutive weeks. The class fills quickly, to be sure to register in the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy.  Registration forms can be obtained here, and once completed, can be mailed in or presented in person at The Health Center.
