Formerly known as Zeum, the Children's Creativity Museum uses multimedia technologies to nurture creativity and communication in children.

Interactive exhibits explore animation, digital arts and music videos, among other things, and nearly each of those hands-on activities can be captured and kept for prosperity.  The super helpful employees of the museum will help visitors burn a copy of a stop-animation sequence to DVD, or email a file, or publish an original piece of kid-created work online!

Just outside is an historic carousel that was once the jewel in the crown that was San Francisco's Playland-at-the-Beach, now fully restored and sitting in the city's center!  (Two rides on the carousel will cost an additional $3 per person.)

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The Children's Creativity Center could be the destination party that your child's friends always remember!   The unique museum will host up to 15 guests, and has several birthday packages to select from.

We had a wonderful day. The kids loved making their own clay figures and using them to produce animated shows. They got to perform on their own tv newscast, put on a puppet show, make a music video, and create digital photos. It was a very fun, stress free day in the city. Something to do for all ages.
