If you've lived in the Modesto/Ceres area for any more than a couple of holiday seasons, it's likely you've already paid a visit to Ceres' Christmas Tree Lane, located off of Moffet Road. But what you may not know is that there is an annual kick off event at the nearby Smyrna Park to mark the official beginning of the Christmas Tree Lane neighborhood lighting. Games, Performances by Local Talent, Crafts, Letters to Heros, and more!
Refreshments, live entertainment and wagon rides are available and at 5:30 the big man himself arrives with the Mrs. Don't forget the camera!

Oh the memories of Christmas Tree Lane!!!! My parents use to take us when me and my brothers and sisters were younger. My mom would buy the hard Christmas candy, you know the colorful kind, and we would start driving down Christmas Tree lane. The experience has been burnt into my memory! I will never forget Christmas Tree Lane! One day, I would love to take my children to Christmas Tree Lane in Ceres CA. I live in Missouri now but someday...more

The Ceres Christmas Tree Lane is amazing, and definitely worth the time. I used to take my kids to one down south every Christmas Eve. We moved up here and didn't know about this one for a few years and missed our annual outing. Now, we have it back and our kids bring their kids and we all go together. Christmas wouldn't be the same for us without Christmas Tree Lane and we appreciate all the work that the residents there do each year...more

The Ceres Christmas Festival and opening of Christmas Tree Lane is a must see for our family each year! Our favorite parts are watching the children dance and sing, then taking a stroll (with a mug of cocoa of course) down Christmas Tree Lane to see the beautiful decorations and hear the carols! Each year the city adds even more to the event making it an even better experience year after year.
