Come & Cut Christmas Trees
Ages: 0 and up
Cost: every tree is $35
Features: Family Friendly
The family-owned and operated Milnes Road Christmas tree farm is the only choose and cut farm in Modesto. Four varieties of trees are available (Monterey Pine, Giant Sequoia, Cedar, and Leyland) and all trees on the farm are priced at $35 regardless of height.
The farm opens for sales the day after Thanksgiving and remains open until the farm sells out of trees, from 9:30am to 4:30pm, seven days a week.
The handsaw for cutting your tree is provided, but the means to tie the tree down to your vehicle is not, so be sure to bring some rope.

We have been going for 6 years and love this place. The owners and staff are very kind and helpful. Also, the price is great. This place is great and it's especially fun for the little ones in the family. The owner operators of this tree farm are great. We found this place last year, were delighted with their selection of trees, and plan to keep going back!
The negative review from "sammy569" seems very strange to me -- when there are literally thousands of trees there to choose from, why would anyone *choose* a tree with flimsy branches, missing branches, dead needles, and a bird's nest, and then *blame the farm*???

First I would like to say they are very friendly people. However, the trees are terrible. The one we purchased is 8ft. tall and the branch are too flimsy for ornaments. It has fallen over 4 times the weight of the ornaments is too much for the tree. The inside has so many dead needles that we had to use a hand rake to get it out. we found a birds nest in it. This left lots of holes in tree where there are no branches. There is still...more
