Celebrate Earth Day in Yosemite! The organized activities take place during the weekend of Earth Day.
Friday's activities include:
Time to be determined: Earth Day Bike Ride Ride through the valley bike paths with park staff and learn about Yosemite's environmental ethic. Advance reservations required; information and tickets available at any tour desk. 50 participant limit. Cost for this event is $5, which includes bike rental, though participants may use their own bike if they so choose.
7 - 8:30pm: Earth Day Family Night: Join park interpreters and educators for an evening of song, entertainment and fun. Launch Earth Day weekend off right! The evening includes a sing-a-long and a dramatization of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. Yosemite Lodge at the Falls Amphitheater (Cliff Room in inclement weather).
