It is a fine place to bowl with friends and family. Just went with my buddies and had a splendid time over there. Food's fine and the arcade was deactivated sadly. But nevertheless it was fun and I rekt my friends at it.

This is a great place to bowl for all ages. Sunday and Tuesday tend to be very crowded though (for quarter bowl night). Since the remodel the interior is great and our kids always have a blast! During the summer they offer a "Kids Bowl Free" program for the weekdays. You can't beat that!

This is a nice bowling alley compared to the other one in Modesto. They have a little arcade room for kids, theyre prices are reasonable, but you can always find coupons in the local phone book. They also have a midnight bowling which is more for teenagers but can be fun for adults or families if you stay up that late. McHenry Bowl also has a little Cafe that has good pizza and other food, as well as vending machines for snacks if you don't want to spend as much $...more

My 9 year old is currently in the Cartoon Mania bowling league at McHenry Bowl. We go every Thursday, and the 2 games last about 1 1/2 hours. Each week we play a different team in our league. The kids learn bowling techniques as well as score-keeping, handicaps, averages, etc. We always order a tasty pizza from the cafe for an after school snack. If you're not too hungry there are vending machines for 'snacks' and drinks. The best part is watching the excitement on my son's face when he gets a spare or a strike!...more
