About: The Modesto Academy is held during the 3 weeks of high school dead period, the 3 weeks before school starts. This academy is designed to increase players conditioning as well as prepare them for their school tryouts. Players will be tested first day of camp in several physical areas: agility, vertical, ect. Players will be reevaluated last day of academy. Each day will start with conditioning to improve in these test areas. First year academy: every academy attendee saw results! Each week will focus on different skills, culminating in team dynamics last week.

This year we are dividing the academy into two sessions: beginner and advance.

• Beginner is one year or less of club volleyball and/or freshman level or lower school volleyball. Also any player 12 years to 9 years old.
• Advance is two or more years of club volleyball and/or jv or varsity school experience.
