- Ripon Grange #511 Breakfast @ the Grange Hall (827 Ripona Avenue), 6-10am; adult $6, children under 10 $4
- Mavis Stouffer Park (1000 Stouffer Street) 8:30am 1 mile Fun Run, 9am 8k. Adults $20, children10 and under $15
- 10am Diaper Derby @ Ripon High School (301 North Acacia Avenue) - $5 fee for participants, must be crawling and under 1 year of age, no charge for admittance
- NEW START TIME FOR 2012: 1pm Almond Blossom Parade- the parade circles Historic Ripon; Main Street-4th Street
- Ripon Memorial Veterans Hall will be open from 9am-4pm (200 South Locust Street)
Daily craft booths, food booths and carnival rides are all located at Mistlin Sports Park (10am-9pm). The carnival is held in a dirt field, so strollers can get around but you may want to bring your jogging stroller! Also dogs are allowed, on a leash.

I wasn't too impressed with the parade. First off it was really cold out, and that seemed to keep viewers at home. Second, the parade was scheduled to start at 11am, it really started closer to 11:45, which is a LONG wait in the cold! Last, there was nothing super exciting in the parade; local queens, homecoming court, horses, cars, clowns, a few bands. The upside; Pizza Plus and the Coffee place on Main Street had hot drinks and food...more
