Update they recently had a Groupon that cost $10 toward $20 worth of food!

I have eaten here once with my husband. The food was delicious (especially the garlic saffron chicken skewers) and the service friendly and fast. When we told the waitress we had small children, she said we should bring them on a Saturday night to watch the bellydancers. She said the dancers like to het the kids up and dancing too. We will definitely have to try it some Saturday night!

Just because you're eating dinner out and have the kids in tow doesn't mean you should be relegated to restaurants with a playplace five feet from your table. Arriving at the table soon after you do will be flat bread and pats of butter. Treat yourself and your family to a delicious Mediterranean sampler ($11) and forget about the butter. The tray of dip-able delights include hummus, eggplant dip, a cucumber yogurt dip, Shiraz salad (so good!) and a few dolmas.

The kids menu comprise of the same tasty items available on the adult menu, but pared down to a manageable size. Every kids entree comes with fluffy rice, grilled veggies, a choice of marinated meat, and follows with ice cream.

Adult entrees range from $10-20, but it's certainly enough food to enjoy half at the restaurant and take half home for leftovers. When you pair that with the kids eat free offer (one kids meal for every adult entree purchased), you've got a pretty scrumptious deal!

I love this place for me and Mr. JBird, we have never taken the kids there as it tends to be a bit on the pricey side (though the food is delish and well worth a special night out) but since I see now that they have a Kids Eat Free night, we will have to try it and report back to the Birds Nest here on how our kids took to Mediterranean!
