Summetime is fairtime!
The Stanislaus County Fair kicks off on Friday, July 12 with all of the quintessential fair activities we love: carnivals, concerts, rodeo, motorcross, agricultural exhibits, horse shows and more.
Specifically for children, the fair's fun includes the 4-H Farmyard Experience, Lowes Playhouse and Kids Make-and-Take Project Zone, and the kid's Midway with pint-sized carnival rides.
Fair hours and the fair schedule is posted online. Admission tickets may be purchased online, as can carnival wristbands. Daily discounts and promotions will help visitors save money; please see the StanCoFair discount page for more information.
Thursday, July 18 is Kid's Night at the fair. Children 12 and under are given free admission into the fair.

First of all i don't think they should charge a $10 admission..it is expensive enough as it is for the food & rides. The atmosphere is ok for kids but i think it would be better to go to an amusement park and spend almost the same amount of $ but have more fun! Better off yet if you want to go to a fair, the state fair is way better than the Stanislaus county fair.
