Located within San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, The California Academy of Sciences is the only place on the planet where you'll find an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and a four-story rainforest under one roof.
Explore a swamp; become an African animal expert; count the number of teeth on an albino alligator; step into the humid, 82 degree glass-encased rainforest, complete with glass elevator to see plants an animals you may never otherwise see... With so much to see and do, plan to stay all day.
The Academy offers both casual and fine dining, with global appeal. Spring rolls, tacos, gumbo and more are served at the Academy Café, while the Moss Room boasts a "modern California" menu full of locally grown, organic ingredients. Reservations are encouraged for the Moss Room.
