Columbia State Historic Park — once a bustling, brawling gold rush town — is an authentic, living mid-nineteenth century history lesson for visitors.

Celebrate the day California became a state at Columbia's California Admission Day Parade.  The Native Sons of the Golden West, Parlor #258, hosts the parade which will run down Main Street.  Other family-friendly events will be taking place during the day, too!

The parade is held annually, on the Saturday nearest California Admission Day, which is September 9.
