My kids loved this festival! We got there early enough for them to participate in the kids bike races and they both won medals in their age categories. They loved the bounce house and the rock climbing! It was not too busy which was great for us. No waiting in line! We will definitely be back next year.

We got to the festival around 1pm and things were pretty dead. We were between shows for the BMX stunt team, although they were signing autographs for 45 minutes after the show. There were very few people there, less than 75 maybe. My son (9yrs old) enjoyed riding his bike on the street, and really enjoyed the inflatable bungee game. My daughter (11yrs old) was bored. The rock wall, bounce house, and bungee game were all free and had very short lines. There were a few information booths, and a little hot dog stand. The professional races were going on, which if you are into that would have been exciting. This biggest disappointment was the 'obstacle course' overseen by the Modesto Police Department. The kids finished in less than 40 seconds, and included going around cones, around trees, under a rope, over a 2x6 plank and back to the finish line. It really lacked imagination! I did overhear several families talking about their FREE bike helmets. Perhaps if we had gotten their earlier in the day the event might have been livelier....more
