The Jelly Belly Factory is located in Fairfield, and well-worth the drive! In mid-October, the Haunted House is open for sweet ghouls and boys.

 

Free, 40-minute guided walking tours depart every 10-15 minutes from the main lobby.  Try to go on a weekday, as although weekend tours are available, candy production does not run on Saturday and Sunday, so the process is only shown on video.  Also, be prepared to wait for the tour... because no reservations are made, you may need to wait up to an hour on holidays and school breaks.  Don't fret, though!  The café will keep you fed with jelly bean shaped pizzas and other delights, or you can hit the candy shop early!
