Ever wanted to sleep with the fishes? Guests may do so at Monterey Bay Aquarium's Summer Nights Sleepovers! Enjoy special evening activities and then spread a sleeping bag out and down in front of your favorite exhibit.
At 6pm, the Evenings by the Bay program starts. Young guests will enjoy the live music; adults will enjoy both the music and wine tastings. Once the doors close at 8pm, only sleepover guests will remain, at which point all the aquarium's exhibits — including the new Open Sea exhibit — will be open and crowd-free! Roam the halls, take part in special activities and programs and enjoy a light before-bed snack while watching a late-night nature movie. Wake in the morning, and delight in breakfasting, continental-style, amongst your favorite sea animals!
Advance reservation is required. Call the number above to make registrations. All attendees under the age of 18 are required to be in the company of a paying adult. Only those over the age of 5 are admitted. Registration fees do not include the aquarium admission; admission must be purchased separately. Cancellations must be made two moths prior to the event date for a refund, and a $5 cancellation fee is charged.
