Columbia State Historic Park — once a bustling, brawling gold rush town — sits at an elevation of 2,100 feet amongst the oaks of the Sierra Nevada foothills. In the mid 1800's, the town of Columbia was one of the largest cities in California, attracting people from other US states as well as other countries with promises of gold. Puppet Art Theater Company returns to Fairytale Town, with the annual Puppet Festival performing colorful and exciting stories, sharing music and and creating fun for children. Five original shows are performed in the Children's Theater each week.
