Cyclists, joggers and walkers enjoy this 6+ mile paved path along Dry Creek. For mountain biking enthusiasts there are trails off to the sides of the path. There are playgrounds, frisbee golf, picnic areas, and tennis courts. The trail is closed after dark.

Ripon Powerplay is the Valley's only inline hockey arena, and is located just off Highway 99 in Ripon. Visitors will enjoy hours of play and the center's shop, arcade and snack bar.

Hollister Hills Lower Ranch is over 3300 acres, designated for dirt bike and ATV use only. There are 128 miles of trails, as well as a practice Motocross Track, an ATV Track, a TT Track, a Mini-bike MX Track, Lodge MX Track, and a Vintage Track. Trails are rated a labeled according to difficulty; Green Circle being the easiest, Blue Square more difficult and Black Diamond is the most difficult.

La Grange Regional Park, all 126 acres, has something for every dirt biking enthusiast. The Novice Play area is a fenced off track for those riding 80cc or under. There is an Intermediate area which is also fenced off with a larger track and more difficult terrain. There are two motocross tracks that are groomed and watered on race days. All bikes must have a green sticker and all riders must wear helmets.

Modesto Skatepark is an outdoor park for bikes, skateboarder and inline skaters. The park has several bowls, one ledge, three boxes, two pyramids, a spine, a hip and a small snake run. Modesto Skatepark is located next to Beyer High School. The park is open dawn til dusk.

Roller Land in Merced is a taste of wholesome family fun right out of the 80's! Inline skates and traditional quad skates are available for rent at an additional cost.

Get your grind on and stop off at the Ceres Skatepark, which is perfect for street skaters. Design features include pyramids, stairs, half-pipe, rails, boxes, ledges.
Smyrna Park is located on Fowler Road between Moffet Road and Rose Avenue, and while the skatepark is not visible from Fowler Road, it is located in the center of the park.

Ripon's Curt Pernice Skatepark has been named one of the best skateparks in California by Thrasher Magazine. The 30,000 square foot park features endless lines and tons of hips. From beginner to advanced levels, skaters will be stoked on the parks pyramids, boxes, rails, step up and half pipe.
