The Chartreuse Muse is a gallery and art school offering a broad range of art curriculum. Art instruction is available for preschoolers to adult. Material costs are generally covered by tuition fees.

- Mommy & Me class is a monthly class which offers little ones a first taste of art. (PreK-K)

Art and More will be offering several Holiday Gift Workshops over the holiday season. Workshops are open to children 5 years and older, however ages 3-4 may attend with an adult helper and with prior permission. Reservations are required.

Columbia State Historic Park — once a bustling, brawling gold rush town — sits at an elevation of 2,100 feet amongst the oaks of the Sierra Nevada foothills. Painting pottery at Color Me Mine is child's play! Hundreds of pottery pieces line the shelves at the store, awaiting to be chosen by a child and then personalized. Children can choose to paint a figurine for display, a plate to eat a favorite meal off of, or a vase to give as a gift to a loved one.

Lowe's hosts Build & Grow workshops, where children create wood craft projects with a parent or caregiver. Each workshop features a different project: napkin holder, birdhouse, race car, ball toss game, etc.
